Godus, the Kickstarter project from Peter Molyneux’s new studio 22Cans, has cleared its halfway funding mark.
At the time of writing, 8,766 backers have pledged £246,959 to the game, but it needs to hit its £450,000 goal in ten days, by Friday December 21 at 12:50pm EST, if it’s to be funded.
“If you haven’t backed us yet, please let us know in the comments what we can do to convince you and we will try to accommodate your ideas,” the studio said in its latest Godus update. “Please read on before you say ‘platform.'”
22Cans has also announced a Mac version of the game, which was previously confirmed for PC, iOS and Android devices
And last night the studio released a new video update in which Molyneux and game and audio designer Jack Attridge “look at the scrum wall for the Godus prototype and catch up with the programmers and artists’ work”.
An updated pitch video with game footage is expected to be released before the end of the week.
