The series will unfold over three months, with two sets of qualifiers running for a month each. Teams of three — who will play the rocket-powered soccer hybrid on both PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, with support for Xbox One “to be revealed in the future” — will compete to make it to the online finals. The winning teams at the end of the qualifying rounds will be awarded $10,000 and a spot in the live, international finale.
The grand prize is $75,000 and the title of first-ever Rocket League esports champion. All matches, including the finals, will be streamed live on Twitch.
