Battlefield Hardline combines intense multiplayer action, emotional storyline and television crime drama setting to provide you an immersive gaming experience like no other.
Playing the role of young detective Nick Mendoza, alongside his partner, veteran detective Khai Minh Dao, your objective is to hunt down criminals, raid vaults and rescue hostages in a collection of new game modes including Heist, Rescue, Hotwire Mode, Blood Money and Crosshair.
“Our goal with Battlefield Hardline was to create the most complete first-person shooter this year by building upon the unrivaled multiplayer franchise DICE created and adding a memorable single player experience with storylines and characters that fans will care about just like they would their favorite TV show,” said Steve Papoutsis, General Manager of Visceral Games and Executive Producer of Battlefield Hardline.
“We’ve added a new level of strategy, speed and storytelling to one of the greatest franchises in the history of videogames. We’re incredibly excited for players to get their hands on it.”
Featuring a veteran cast of internationally-acclaimed actors and writers, including Alexandra Daddario from True Detective, Kelly Hu from Arrow, Wendy Calhoun from Justified, and Benito Martinez from House of Cards, the Battlefield Hardline story is told through an episodic format, not disimilar to the Netflix streaming service.
Powered by the Frostbite 3 engine, Battlefield Hardline features multiplayer strategic team play set in the gritty and glamorous world of cops and crooks, while the singleplayer mode is brought to you by the people behind Dead Space 3, with a dramatic storyline akin to classic TV cop shows. There’s a wide range of urban environmnents, from subterranean grow-labs to LA car dealerships and a comprehensive arsenal of 54 weapons with which to blow them apart, from tracking darts to sawn-off shotguns. For those who love vehicular action, there are 27 of them, from SUVs to attack helicopters and gunboats.
With a great balance between shooter and stealth game, this is the arguably best Battlefield game in a long time.
